Diversity, equity and inclusion

Here at Ingram Micro, we are defined by our people and their diverse talents. Our unique perspectives generate innovative ideas. Our lived differences help us find new futures. Our varied strengths and weaknesses enable our growth.


In 2020, we formalized our employee resource groups (ERGs) on a corporate level to enhance inclusivity. Now with over 600 individuals participating across the seven groups, our corporate-sponsored ERGs are as follows: Working Parents, Disabilities and Inclusion, Black, LGBTQ+, Multi-cultural, Veterans and Women’s Leadership. A year later, in 2021, we launched Together at Ingram Micro, our global DE&I program designed with the feedback and guidance of our associate community.


That same year, 70% of executive roles were filled internally and 42% of Ingram Micro associates were women. Our actions have resulted in a global workplace where (as of 2021) 42% of our associates and 33% of our leaders are women. Elevating women around the globe

At Ingram Micro, we celebrate the many accomplishments of women globally, but also recognize there is more to be done to advance gender equity and the needs of women throughout their careers. Promoting women in the workplace has been a focus in our hiring practices and our ongoing career advancement efforts for many years, including through programs such as our Women’s Leadership Forum and LEADIngramMicro. Although we are proud of our progress, we acknowledge the need to do more to promote gender inclusion and equity. I want women to march on despite any challenges they may face along their journey, trust in their capabilities and be more confident about what they bring to the table. Here at Ingram Micro, our people and their diverse talents define us. Our promise is to create an inclusive environment where every colleague can bring their authentic self to work. Our approach to wellness

The global COVID-19 pandemic demonstrated how essential health and well-being are, as community members and employees. In response, we established the Ingram Micro Emergency Assistance Fund (EAF) with the non-profit Helping Hands.


Beyond our COVID-19 response, Ingram Micro offers several resources to support associate wellness. We launched a global Employee Assistance Program (EAP), enabling associates and their families to seek assistance for work, health or life issues.

Workplace health and safety

Ingram Micro is committed to providing a safe working environment for all employees, clients and vendors. Our I AM SAFE program helps ensure that all of our associates leave the workplace safely and is an essential part of our 10 to Zero initiative pledge to achieve zero safety incidents by 2030. All associates contribute to safety by complying with our procedures and are empowered to contribute to the continuous improvement of our program. Ingram Micro strives to achieve a “road to zero” and plans to reach this destination through partnership, planning, preparedness and continuous improvement of our safety program.
