CUSTOMERS NAME INGRAM MICRO PREFERRED DISTRIBUTOR FOR THE FIFTH CONSECUTIVE YEAR

Computer resellers were asked to rate their preferred distributors in six product categories: computer systems, software, mass storage devices, networking products, peripherals and emerging technology products.

Participating resellers judged product availability as the most important criteria, followed by delivery (accuracy), price, return policies and access to sales representatives. Among the value-added services offered by distributors, post-sale technical support remained the most sought-after service.

Computer Reseller News is the leading computer reseller publication in the United States with more than 115,000 subscribers. The magazine's 13th annual "Preferred Distributor" study was conducted between January and March of this year.
