INGRAM MICRO EXPANDS DISTRIBUTION AGREEMENT WITH COMDIAL CORPORATION
Telecom Integration Division To Offer Complete Comdial Product Line Throughout North America

NEW YORK CITY, April 9, 1998
Ingram Micro Inc., the world's leading distributor of technology products and services, today announced that it has expanded its distribution agreement with Charlottesville, VA-based Comdial Corporation, a leading manufacturer that provides enterprisewide communications solutions to businesses and government.

The current distribution agreement will be amended to include the Comdial's complete product line, including Impact and FX Series digital switching systems, Impact SCS and Impression wired telephone systems, Scout and Air Impact wireless telephone systems, QuickQ call center hardware and software, VVP and Small Office voice processing systems, Internet protocol (IP) telephony gateways, software enabling computer telephone integration (CTI), including Comdial's wideopen.office universal CTI server, and other products. The agreement will include distribution rights to the newest addition to Comdial's product line, CT Voice, Comdial's new IP telephony gateway product that transmits voice and fax over IP networks, which is anticipated to be available in the third quarter.
