NEW FINANCIAL SERVICES OFFERED BY INGRAM MICRO
SANTA ANA, Calif., Sept. 14, 1998
Ingram Micro Inc., the world's leading wholesale
distributor of technology products and services,
today announced that Ingram Financial Services
Company (IFSC), a division of Ingram Micro, will
expand its alliance with Deutsche Financial
Services (DFS) to offer new lending programs for
its reseller customers.
Two new financing programs have been created in
an alliance with DFS. FastLine, a lending program
touting a two-hour turnaround for loan requests,
and a customized financing program for Ingram Micro
business partners requiring special financing
solutions. FastLine offers resellers a fast, easy
lending option for financing products with lines of
credit up to $150,000 and decisions made in a few
hours. The program offers a free 30-day financing
plan or 40-day financing with a 40-percent lending
fee per invoice. Both financing options allow
Ingram Micro customers to facilitate their clients'
needs more effectively during unexpected or unique
situations.
"Ingram Micro understands the business needs of
our customers. This expanded partnership with
Deutsche Financial Services deepens our commitment
to be a one-stop shop for resellers," said Lino
Martin, senior director of financial services and
U.S. treasurer for Ingram Micro. "We are pleased to
offer our customers convenient, flexible financing
options."
In addition, IFSC is expanding financing for
resellers with $10 million or more in annual sales.
Resellers can take advantage of 30-day
interest-free financing on inventory purchases and
make cash advances on eligible accounts
receivables.
"We have been doing business with Ingram Micro
and their reseller customers for some time and are
looking forward to providing these additional
options," said Robert Duncan, senior regional vice
president at Deutsche Financial Services. "These
new services will be a big advantage to resellers
looking for financial options to increase their
cash flow and expand their business."
IFSC was formed in 1995 to offer financial
service resources to Ingram Micro's reseller
customers. In alliance with DFS, Resellers Credit
Corp. (RCC) was formed to provide resellers a wide
range of comprehensive financing. RCC eliminates
the extra step of working with financial
institutions outside Ingram Micro by offering
solutions to assist resellers in purchasing
products and technology for their customers. In
addition to the new FastLine program, national
credit programs are available to enhance reseller
cash flow with asset-based lending programs and
customized leasing solutions.

credit process could effect my business

complications because it is fast and easy. I use it

Recent IFSC Announcements
Ingram Micro recently announced IFSC's offering of
a customized leasing program for government and
education resellers. The program, Partnership
America Leasing Solutions, is being provided
through a partnership between IFSC and Comdisco
Inc., a technology services company, to give
resellers flexible leasing options for procurement
opportunities. This is the first stand-alone
government leasing program available through a
distributor that provides options for federal,
state/local and education resellers responding to
Requests for Proposal (RFP) and other government
procurement opportunities.
