Ingram Micro has partnered with Seagate Software to offer a volume software licensing program tailored to meet the specific needs of resellers. Ingram Micro Forms Three New Partnerships
Ingram Micro has partnered with San Jose, Calif.-based Abler Technology Inc.; Fremont, Calif.-based Addtron Technology Co. Limited; and Austin, Texas-based NLynx Systems, formerly Andrew Networking. Ingram Micro will distribute the product lines to the small to midsize business market through its Technical Products Division.

Ingram Micro Adds Internet Solution Section To Its Web Site
The newest addition to the Ingram Micro Web site, Internet Solution, is a one-stop online tool for resellers looking for valuable information on the Internet market. A graphical Internet diagram allows resellers to click product icons and view detailed lists of products Ingram Micro carries for authoring, browsing, serving and transporting information using the Internet. The new Internet Solution area actually walks resellers through options for Internet hardware and software, allowing them to specify configurations to create desired solutions. The Internet Solution is a comprehensive tool that instructs users on connecting to the Internet, creating Web pages, publishing sites online, the history of the Internet (including timeline) and a glossary of Internet terms. Each link provides an additional information source for technically experienced and inexperienced resellers alike.

Ingram Micro And Levin Consulting Establish Retail Excellence Program
This cost-effective program was developed to help manufacturers market technology and computer products to the small-business and consumer markets and succeed in retail channel distribution. The three-day program combines classroom instruction, field research and facilities tours. It also features guest speakers from major retailers and channel suppliers. The program will be held in Dallas and Orange County, Calif., on June 3-5, July 7-9, Aug. 10-12, Sept. 21-23 and Oct. 19-21.
