INGRAM MICRO TO DISTRIBUTE
SYBASE ENTERPRISE APPLICATION DEVELOPMENT
TOOLS
SANTA ANA, Calif., Nov. 18, 1997
Ingram Micro Inc., the world's leading wholesale
distributor of technology products and services,
today announced that it will distribute the Sybase
enterprise product line in the United States and
Canada.
The distribution agreement includes the
following business application development tools:
PowerBuilder Enterprise, Power++Enterprise, the
newly released PowerJ and the PowerDesigner
Toolset. PowerBuilder is a family of client/server
and Internet development tools used to create
applications quickly and easily. The PowerDesigner
product family is a database design program by
Sybase.
"We are pleased to distribute Sybase's PowerSoft
enterprise application development tools," said
David Ochser, director of UNIX marketing at Ingram
Micro. "The line will be a valuable addition to our
current product offering, allowing us to provide a
complete enterprise solution to our reseller
customers."
William Critch, volume channels director at
