WITH ALLIED COMPUTING SERVICES LTD.
Alliance Will Provide Ingram Micro Resellers
With Global Service Solutions
SANTA ANA, Calif., Dec. 16, 1997
Ingram Micro Inc., the world's leading wholesale
distributor of technology products and services,
announced today that its Ingram Services Group
(ISG) has entered into an alliance with Allied
Computing Services Ltd. (ACSL), an international
association of computer resellers in North America,
Europe and Japan. ACSL, with its vast and powerful
network of members, includes authorized computer
reseller partners in 16 countries, with combined
resources of more than 8,800 employees in 230
locations worldwide.
Greg Hawkins, senior vice president of sales for
Ingram Micro and responsible for global sales
programs, said, "During the past six months, Ingram
Micro has made a number of very strategic global
investments and acquisitions in the United States,
Europe, Latin America and Asia. We are truly a
global company, and together with ACSL, Ingram
Micro will be able to provide global solutions and
programs to our reseller customer base anywhere in
the world."
Randy Jones, Ingram Micro's vice president of
