INGRAM MICRO ANNOUNCES NEW
PARTNERSHIP AMERICA PARTICIPANTS
SANTA ANA, Calif., Nov. 4, 1997
Ingram Micro Inc., the world's leading wholesale
distributor of technology products and services,
announced today that it has added
36 new manufacturers to its
government reseller program, Partnership America,
during the third quarter (July 1 - Sept. 27, 1997).
Program participants offer various discounts to
resellers servicing the federal, state/local and
education markets.
Partnership America helps resellers, VARs and
systems integrators tap into the government
information technology market. The program offers a
range of services, including bid pricing, proposal
support, contract management and processing
support, state and local programs, state term
schedule support, dedicated government account
managers, technology refreshment, credit services
and configuration support. Since its inception in
1995, Ingram Micro's Partnership America program
has signed on more than 235 manufacturers to serve
the federal, state and local government sectors.

manufacturers are recognizing the enormous
opportunity the government market offers," said
