Ingram Micro Signs
Distribution Agreement With Sagem
Ingram Micro has signed an agreement
with Cupertino, Calif.-based Sagem to distribute
its full line of ISDN videoconferencing solutions.
The product line targets midsize to large
value-added resellers (VARs). Sagem also has joined
Partnership America, Ingram Micro's government
reseller program, and is involved in Ingram Micro's
education program.
Ingram Micro Partners
With INTERSHOP Communications Inc.
Ingram Micro has entered into an agreement with
Burlingame, Calif.-based INTERSHOP Communications
Inc. to distribute its full line of electronic
commerce products, including INTERSHOP Online and
INTERSHOP Mall. The product line is compatible with
UNIX and Windows NT platforms. Ingram Micro's
dedicated Sun and HP 9000 divisions will market
INTERSHOP's solutions to VARs, Internet resellers
and Internet Service Providers (ISPs).
Ingram Micro And
Netscape Offer Volume-Licensing
Program
Netscape Charters is a points-based program that
allows volume-level discounts on reorders. Charters
encourages reorders from resellers, and Ingram
Micro will ship product directly to end users. For

Ingram Micro To
Distribute Novonyx Software
Ingram Micro has agreed to distribute Orem,
Utah-based Novonyx software. Novonyx began through
a collaboration between Netscape Communications and
Novell to allow Netscape server software to run on
Novell NetWare. Under the terms of the agreement,
Ingram Micro will provide sales and marketing
support to assist Novonyx in developing and
eventually expanding its customer base. Ingram
Micro will distribute the products primarily to
systems integrators and VARs.
Ingram Micro Expands
Distribution Agreement With Artecon
Ingram Micro has signed an agreement with Carlsbad,
Calif.-based Artecon to include its networking
product line. The line includes rack-mount
enclosures for Sun Microsystems workstations and
servers; hot-plug removable disk, tape and optical
disk subsystems; desktop, desk-side and
rack-mountable RAID systems; and network-attached
storage servers. The expansion of the agreement
will help Ingram Micro to better service systems
integrators and VARs.
