INGRAM MICRO ANNOUNCES EXECUTIVE PROMOTIONSSANTA ANA, Calif., July 22, 1997 Terence, 38, joined Ingram Micro in October 1994 as the director of international finance and accounting. In 1996 he was promoted to senior director of finance and accounting for the Asia Pacific, Latin America and Export divisions In his new role, Terence will dedicate his efforts to expanding Ingram Micro's presence in Latin America, integrating acquired businesses into the Ingram Micro family of companies and developing a world-class financial reporting and management organization within the division. Terence continues to report to David Rutledge, president of Ingram Micro Latin America. Rutledge said "As vice president of finance and accounting, Frank will play an integral part in the Latin American growth strategy. His extensive experience will be valuable to the team as we acquire new businesses to expand our customer base in Latin America." Prior to joining Ingram Micro, Terence served as Borland International's general manager and controller for its Latin American operations. His career spans Fortune 500 companies such as NCR, Rockwell International and Pepsi Co. He holds bachelor's degrees in finance, international business, and Spanish literature from Florida State University and a master's degree in International Business from the University of South Carolina. Miller, 41, joined Ingram Micro in 1992 as assistant controller U.S. In his new position, he will be responsible for the overall accounting function, including financial reporting, planning and forecasting, general accounting, marketing accounting, segmentation accounting, payroll and fixed assets. Miller will continue reporting to Ron Hardaway, Ingram Micro's senior vice president and CFO U.S. Hardaway said, "Steve has been an instrumental part of the U.S. financial organization for the past five years. His strong accounting background and his ability to address a variety of issues have been extremely important as we continue to grow our company." Prior to joining Ingram Micro, Miller worked at Coopers and Lybrand as an audit manager. He holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara and is a certified public accountant. Ingram Micro Inc.
