INGRAM MICRO TO MAKE APPEARANCE AT INTERNATIONAL INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY CONFERENCESANTA ANA, Calif., Oct. 29, 1996 The event is being touted as the biggest information technology exhibition to be held in the history of the Middle East with the coming together of more than 400 exhibitors from 27 countries. "As part of our efforts to establish Ingram Micro as a key distributor in the Middle East, we plan to meet and spend time with both existing and future customers at GITEX. The site features Ingram Micro's Electronic Catalog and In-depth Manufacturer Information Library which offers real-time product information, pricing and availability. The company's booth will also feature demonstrations, giveaways and information on Ingram Micro and its vendors. Ingram Micro's Export Division serves resellers through six export offices located in Santa Ana, Calif.; Tokyo, Japan; Miami, Fla.; Buenos Aires, Argentina; Quito, Ecuador; and Brussels, Belgium. The division was founded in 1992 and supports U.S.-based exporters and international resellers not covered by Ingram Micro's international affiliates.
