"We are very pleased to have Kim join our company." Strohm last served as an independent consultant for Nat Systems International, an application development tools vendor, based in Virginia. Prior to that, she served as an enterprise account representative of Herndon, Va.-based Computer Associates International, Inc. From 1988 to 1995, Strohm worked for Herndon, Va.-based Legent Corporation, where she last served as senior director of corporate planning. While at Legent, she managed five corporate functions, including investor relations, industry analyst relations, customer relations, corporate information centers and sales information services. Prior to Legent, she worked for the Carnegie Group, Inc., as manager of technical marketing from 1985 to 1987. She began her career at American Management Systems, Inc. as a systems analyst in 1983. Strohm earned a master's degree in business administration from the Graduate School of Industrial Administration at Carnegie-Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Penn., and holds a bachelor of science degree in computer science from Duke University in Durham, N.C.
