Worldwide Reseller and Vendor Partners Can Access Ingram Micro's Latest Business Tools on the Internet

Ingram Micro Inc. announced today its Export Division has launched a comprehensive Internet web site allowing its more than 5,000 U.S.-based exporters and international resellers to conduct business on the Internet by connecting to http://www.ingrammicro.com.

"The Export Division web site will allow our international vendor and reseller partners to access vital information via the Ingram Micro home page," said David R. Rutledge, Ingram Micro's senior vice president of Latin America, Asia Pacific and Export Markets. "More importantly, it is a direct link to Ingram Micro's standard-setting Electronic Catalog and In-depth Manufacturer Information Library, which empowers resellers to access real-time product information, pricing and warehouse availability on 36,000 products from more than 1,000 manufacturers."

Ingram Micro's In-depth Library features comprehensive original-format manufacturer sales and marketing materials, technical information and publications, training manuals, vendor information and vendor support.

In addition to the Electronic Catalog and In-depth Manufacturer Information Library, the new web site features information on Ingram Micro's Export Division sales offices, upcoming events and tradeshows, as well as technical support and customer service.

Ingram Micro's Export Division serves resellers in 85 countries through six export offices located in Santa Ana, Calif.; Tokyo, Japan; Miami, Fla.; Buenos Aires, Argentina; Quito, Ecuador; and Brussels, Belgium. The division was founded in 1992 and supports U.S.-based exporters and international resellers not covered by Ingram Micro's international affiliates.
