INGRAM ALLIANCE NAMES NEW SENIOR DIRECTOR OF RESELLER PROGRAMS

SANTA ANA, Calif., Sept. 13, 1996
Ingram Alliance Reseller Company, a subsidiary of Ingram Micro Inc., announced today the addition of Robert L. Stegner to the newly-created position of senior director of reseller programs.

Stegner, 43, will be responsible for the design and launch of a program that will offer new and innovative value-added services to resellers. He brings seven years of vendor relations and sales experience to Ingram Alliance.

"Ingram has always taken pride in developing programs to meet our customers' needs. Bob's experience in the reseller community will help us develop programs and services that will help our resellers address the challenges and opportunities they face in today's competitive market," said Doug Antone, president of Ingram Alliance and senior vice president of Ingram Micro.

Stegner was formerly director of sales and marketing for Sarcom, an Ohio-based computer reseller. He attended Ohio State University.
