INGRAM ALLIANCE NAMES NEW SENIOR DIRECTOR OF RESELLER PROGRAMSSANTA ANA, Calif., Sept. 13, 1996 Stegner, 43, will be responsible for the design and launch of a program that will offer new and innovative value-added services to resellers. He brings seven years of vendor relations and sales experience to Ingram Alliance. "Ingram has always taken pride in developing programs to meet our customers' needs. Bob's experience in the reseller community will help us develop programs and services that will help our resellers address the challenges and opportunities they face in today's competitive market," said Doug Antone, president of Ingram Alliance and senior vice president of Ingram Micro. Stegner was formerly director of sales and marketing for Sarcom, an Ohio-based computer reseller. He attended Ohio State University. Ingram Alliance was started in 1994 by Ingram Micro Inc. -- the world's largest wholesale distributor of computer products with 1995 sales of $8.617 billion -- to launch Ingram Micro into the specialized master reseller market.
