INGRAM MICRO NAMES NEW DIRECTOR OF RETURNS OPERATIONSANTA ANA, Calif., Sept. 5, 1996 Gill, who joined Ingram Micro in 1993 as manager of its returns operation, has been credited with improving the quality and efficiency of returns by developing a strong management team and building a well-trained core of associates. Gill manages 400 associates who receive, process and credit returned products to customer accounts with the help of a new automated system. He oversaw the implementation of the time-saving system in 1995. Gill's responsibilities also include the Santa Ana configuration center. Prior to joining Ingram Micro, Gill was a consultant providing logistics solutions to corporations and Fortune 500 companies. He holds a bachelor of science degree in organizational behavior from Rider University in New Jersey.
