INGRAM MICRO NAMES NEW
DIRECTOR OF OPERATIONS, CHICAGO
CHICAGO, Ill. , Sept. 4, 1996
Ingram Micro Inc. announced today the
appointment of Zia Mansury to director of
operations of Chicago.
His responsibilities include overseeing
Chicago-area Ingram Micro facilities, including a
new automated distribution center and a regional
configuration center.
Mansury manages a team of 16 supervisors and
managers and about 400 associates in distribution,
configuration, the warehouse and shipping. He
played an integral role in the planning, design and
layout of Ingram Micro's new 265,000-square-foot
distribution center in Carol Stream.
Mansury has over 24 years of operations,
logistics and manufacturing experience. He joined
Ingram Micro in 1992 as senior manager of
operations.
