INGRAM MICRO RELOCATES ILLINOIS DISTRIBUTION CENTER TO LARGER FACILITY
New Carol Stream Site Measures 265,000 Square Feet

Ingram Micro Inc. announced today it has moved its Illinois distribution center to a new, state-of-the-art structure in a northwest Chicago suburb.

The move consolidates the distribution center facilities into a single, new structure in Carol Stream -- a significant improvement over the former Buffalo Grove facilities, which were comprised of three separate buildings. The new site, located at 415 Lies Road, is 30,000 square feet larger and measures 265,000 square feet.

The Buffalo Grove location, which is about 19 miles from Carol Stream, will continue to house Ingram Micro's regional configuration center.

The Carol Stream facility is one of eight fully automated Ingram Micro distribution centers in the United States. These strategically-located centers enable Ingram Micro to keep an extensive supply of products close to its reseller customers across the nation. The distribution centers provide same-day shipping on orders received before 5 p.m. and boast an industry-leading 97 percent fill rate and 99.7 percent shipping accuracy rate.
