INGRAM MICRO PROMOTES TWO EXECUTIVES IN ITS MANAGEMENT INFORMATION SYSTEMS DIVISION

Ingram Micro Inc. announced today it has promoted two executives in its management information systems (MIS) division. Liz Raybon has been promoted to senior director of telecommunications and Bill Larkins has been named director of technical support.

"Liz's and Bill's leadership have made the current MIS division a much stronger entity," said Mike Kelly, Ingram Micro's senior vice president of MIS. "In this fast-paced environment, MIS is constantly challenged to provide new and improved services, and these two individuals have been instrumental in this effort."

As senior director of telecommunications, Raybon will be responsible for all voice communications, in addition to managing all contracts and vendor activities for both data and voice communications. She joined the company in 1982, and during the past 10 years has been instrumental in developing the telecommunications environment which also supports Ingram Micro's international organizations.

In addition, Bill Larkins, a seven-year Ingram Micro associate, will now be responsible for the planning, execution and support of all operating systems, as well as third party software products, new hardware and software recommendations. The company's technical support department assists more than 200 associates in systems support, assuring the smooth operation of the company's mainframe operating environment. Raybon and Larkins will report to Kelly.
