INGRAM MICRO ANNOUNCES
ORGANIZATIONAL MANAGEMENT CHANGES
Move Will Realign Marketing and Value-added
Services Departments
SANTA ANA, Calif., July 23, 1996
Ingram Micro Inc. announced today it has made
two organizational management changes in its
marketing and value-added services departments.
Doug Antone, president of Ingram Alliance and
senior vice president of Ingram Micro, has taken on
the additional responsibilities of managing the
product marketing and marketing communications
departments. In addition, Ingram Micro's
value-added services department will now report to
Greg Hawkins, senior vice president of sales.
"These two organizational changes will establish
a new level of synergy between our reseller
programs and vendor activities," said Jeff Rodek,
president and COO of Ingram Micro. "In particular,
it will heighten the awareness and create more
integration between Ingram Alliance and Ingram
Micro."
Antone added, "The marketing communications and
product marketing departments support our reseller
and vendor partners, and this realignment will
allow a more cohesive approach to all of our
marketing activities."
"Value-added services and sales have always
worked closely together," said Hawkins, "however,
this realignment will allow an even tighter
integration of the sales and operations function."
