James E. Anderson, Jr. serves as senior vice president, secretary and general counsel of Ingram Micro Inc. He brings more than 25 years of legal experience to the company. Prior to joining Ingram Micro in January 1996, Anderson served as vice president, secretary and general counsel for Ingram Micro's former parent company, Ingram Industries Inc. in Nashville, Tenn. He joined Ingram Industries in 1991. Anderson is a former partner in the law firm of Dearborn & Ewing, also in Nashville and Akin, Gump, Strauss, Hauer, and Feld in Dallas. He holds a bachelor's degree and a J.D. from Stanford University and attended the University of California at Berkeley graduate school of business.
