This agreement offers solution providers a complete financial software suite for small- to mid-sized businesses (SMB) and marks the first time Microsoft has offered its Great Plains Small Business Manager 6.2 software through a distributor to the IT channel. After evaluating the capabilities of several distributors, Microsoft selected Ingram Micro based on the company's established track record servicing value added resellers (VARs) and proven experience distributing Microsoft products. Microsoft also recognized the power of Ingram Micro's established VAR communities such as Ingram Micro VentureTech Network (VTN) and Ingram Micro SMB Alliance to deliver high-quality service to SMBs and financial vertical markets.
