Ingram Micro Unveils Powerful Public Sector Alliance For Channel Partners
Ingram Micro GovEd Alliance Gives VARs The Tools Necessary To Increase Sales,
Lower Costs And Gain A Competitive Edge
SANTA ANA, Calif., June 10, 2002 Ingram Micro Inc. (NYSE: IM), the largest

services, today announced the Ingram Micro GovEd Alliance a valuable
channel community designed exclusively to boost sales opportunities for government
and education VARs.
Developed in part with Ingram Micros channel partners, GovEd Alliance
is a no-dues community that offers government and education VARs a flexible
menu of services and resources. The new alliance is intended to lower costs,
render a competitive edge and drive government and education sales for VARs.
For nearly a decade, Ingram Micro has been empowering VAR sales in the

The new GovEd Alliance replaces Partnership America Ingram Micros
long-standing public sector channel program. GovEd Alliance builds on the strengths

GovEd Alliance offers discounted pricing from more than 320 manufacturing partners,
exclusive finance and bid notification services and features four key service
areas: Contract Services such as GSA support; Financing; Business Development;
and Business Resources.
