INGRAM MICRO PARTNERS WITH SCI COMPANIES TO HELP TECHNOLOGY RESELLERS WITH HUMAN RESOURCES SOLUTIONS

Company's Ingram Financial Services Co. first to bring total HR resource solution to the channel

SANTA ANA, Calif., June 15, 2000

Ingram Micro Inc. (NYSE:IM), the world's largest wholesale provider of technology products and services, today announced it has entered into an agreement with Staffing Concepts International Inc. (SCI Companies), a national leader in the delivery of human resources solutions, to provide outsourcing support in the critical areas of human resources for its technology reseller customers. The outsourcing program will be facilitated by Ingram Financial Services Co.

Customer and industry research conducted by Ingram Micro concluded that resellers spend thousands of dollars and valuable management time each year handling employee relations issues and legal compliance, while trying to balance benefits administration.

Through the economies of scale allowed through Ingram Micro and SCI Companies, resellers will have access to a substantial and cost-effective human resources administration platform, with strategic human resources benefits, training and organizational development programs. This program offers the ability to enhance and lower overall costs of human resources administration.
