INGRAM MICRO NAMES ORRIN INGRAM TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS
SANTA ANA, Calif., Sept. 23, 1999
Ingram Micro Inc., the world's largest wholesale provider of technology products and services, today announced that Orrin H. Ingram II, 39, president and chief executive officer of Ingram Industries Inc., has been named to the Ingram Micro board of directors.
"I am pleased to welcome Orrin to our board of directors," said Jerre L. Stead, chairman and chief executive officer of Ingram Micro. "As president and chief executive officer of Ingram Industries, Orrin will bring a valuable perspective to the board."
